Hi-Ho Classic Diner in Windsor

Ordered the broaster chicken and it was like eating a salt lick. Place looks great and the staff was amazing. Other meals in our party like the fish n chips looked great as well.

We ordered the Hi Ho Breakfast, all I can say it's gonna be a good day!

Food was fantastic. Service was ok.. A little slow when it wasn't super busy.

First time to visit this location today with my parents and the waitress told us about the four-piece broasted chicken meal on special for $10.99...we went along with it and ordered two specials as it sounded like a great deal. In the end, she charged us $11.99, and when I pointed the mistake out to her on the receipt because she told us the special was $10.99, she said, "I did? Sorry about that." She did not try to offer to take the $2 off our receipt, nor offer anything else to create a better dining experience. We left disappointed, even though the service started out well. If we ever go to Hi Ho again, we would go to the other location.

I'm not a big fan of how The Michigan Diner decided to rebrand to a classic restaurant from Windsor from when I was a kid. I'm even less of a fan of their complete failure to understand or respect intellectual property law but I was willing to give them a shot to see if we enjoyed the food. The menu has some classic items on it from the old restaurant but they seem to be in name only. For example the Grumpy Burger is a two patty bacon cheeseburger with ham but doesn't have any spexial sauce. The food we recieved was very very fast and was okay. My wife's liver was overcooked and leathery. My broasted chicken was good but nothing special. The kids said their pasta was very good. The best part of any of the meals was the mashed potatoes. Probably will never be back.

My mom and I love coming here to dine because the servers are friendly, fast and efficient. We come here about once a week. The food taste great as well. The only problem I have is the cook in the kitchen who talks down to the servers who are all female. You can hear him in the dining area saying things to the ladies and berating them. I would almost say it is bordering on harrassment. Then you can hear him getting loud in his own language and it is not what you should be hearing when you are out to enjoy a evening dinner.

Really enjoy coming to this location! I love the 50's/60's retro theme and the music from that era, food of course never disappoints.

Hi-Ho is an amazing place to eat we've been there a few times now the service is great and the food is delicious, both times we didn't have to wait long for the food. I definitely recommend this place.

Was great! Very good "home cooked" meals. Staff is always friendly and atmosphere is great. Great place to take your family. Definitely kid friendly too. Prices are decent

The service was great but there is one guy, the tall one, (not sure if he is the boss or not) yelled at the all female staff. I felt sad and scared for them. It was uncomfortable to be customer, who have brought young kids in this restaurant.

Do people really like this place? I thought the food was not really good. It tasted like frozen food you can buy at the grocery store. My friend liked the caesar salad, but you can't really go wrong with a salad or can you? My friend also has bad taste in food so I don't trust her with that opinion. I don't think I would go back to this place unless maybe if someone else was paying. Maybe then I would give it another shot, in hopes that the way things are cooked have changed and it doesn't taste like frozen food heated up.

Amazing french toast! Service was great. Always kept my coffee full. Parking lot is huge. The inside of the place is like a old 50s diner. Clean. The food and service was fast and delicious! Will most definitely be back!

Wonderful breakfasts! Coffee was great and the Greek Omelette was fantastic. Had a great waitress- all wait staff were friendly and helpful. I like the 50’s theme. Felt like being in one of the original Hi Ho’s from years ago.

My broasted chicken wasn't cooked through. No apologies or discount. They didn't even offer to make a new one or a different dish, just took my chicken back and cooked it longer, making the skin inedible. My waitress was completely uninterested and miserable.

The wife and myself stopped there before leaving to head back home to Chatham.The meal was quick, very well done and the help was very extraordinary and pleasant, we will be eating there again, thankyou.

Wow, I'm impressed! The whole package! From the outside in! And the service, when I came in I was greeted with a loud "Good Morning" from Emily who is the perfect type of personality to do the job she is doing, really makes u feel comfortable and welcome! And most important of all, the food was all on point!!! I mean even the pieces of orange were good and I over ordered but was compelled to eat everything! 👏🏾I'm not that picky but believe it, most restaurants stoped caring or didn't have a passion right from the get-go! But not "Hi-Ho"!!! Bravo!

I met a couple of friends there for breakfast and it was really nice. They have it set up and looking like a 1950's diner with pictures from back then and showed some prices from then also. We each had a different meal and you got a fare amount of food. I enjoyed it!

The special breakfast dinner is extra special price at $5.99 still from $7.99... can't beat it. Waitresses, 2 in particular very service orientated and pays attention to our 2 kids, giving them quarters for gum machine because there well behaved. A couple of times it's happened. Just overall the breakfast is pretty consistent, like the way the bacon is cooked there, leaner and crispier then most.

I love coming here. The food is pretty good and the strawberry milkshake is the best I've had in the city. The service is relaxed and friendly. I really can't say anything bad about this place. The fish and chips and boasted chicken is my favourite. Cheers

I Never Complain but I actually have to this time. We went here tonight as a Family for Dinner for the 1st time. I ordered the Baked Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and My Wife ordered the Meatloaf. The kids all got Burgers.My Fettuccine Tasted sour as if the Sauce had Gone Bad and it Smelled weird. My Wife's Meatloaf was very bland with no taste.My Son's Burger was Pink inside and was missing the bacon but the Server was Fantastic.Gave it a try but won't be returning

Friendly service, awesome fried chicken, good breakfast, good prices. Place was really busy Sunday morning but we were seated fairly quickly. WIll be coming back, perfect for a cozy weekend breakfast

The best breakfast in Windsor! Those hash browns are to die for. Also the Greek salad is amazing! This is in our rotation consistently! Casual, laid back with a retro decor. Menu is diverse and well priced.
